How can I get rid of that pesky "Sign up now" popup?

Came to the site to read up. Created a login. Occasionally just check in now and then to see replies.
I get that dammed "Sign up now" popup every 3-5 minutes. Very annoying.

Is the only way to get rid of the pop up by either signing in, OR how about going over to Discussion Forums - Yesterday's Tractors

Just recently I started to get it again. I've learned I can make it go away by clicking on any of the space around it but it's annoying because the popup is totally superfluous.

Log out, clear browser history. You can browse your individual cookies and delete the ones from tractorbynet.com. Then when you log in click "remember me" ...

That doesn't explain why the popup started up again for me after several months of not doing it. I clear everything when I shut down my browser.

Try Logging In then never Log Out. Next time you access TBN https://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/index.php you will be automatically Logged In. The popup will not appear. I'm using a PC with Windows 10 & Firefox. Your mileage may vary if using another method.

So just use the popup to login... right? That's what I do. Maybe we'll change the format to position it on the bottom of the page instead of middle.

I don’t log out and have not encountered a problem until just a day or so ago. Come on and needed to sign in. Got caught in some kind of loop where I couldn’t log in. Changed PW and reset. On a lap top it seems to be working fine now but every time I come to TBN on an iPad I’m logged out and have to sign back on. Checking “Remember Me” doesn’t work. Finally after several attempts and no “Remember Me” check I can get signed on.

So what’s up with all the trouble staying signed on?
