Yes, it's a fine, easy to use product that will protect for 2 years. There are others that are equally good. The Duragloss was I believe the first coating I had bought, and now I stock it for don't things like this... Not a car cruise vehicle. It's easy to apply, durable, and I don't have to be waxing things every 3 months if I have a 2+ year coating on the paint. So, do you recommend Duragloss for trucks, too? I have a black 2017 Super Duty I need to get working on.
Clay bar your truck.
Do your paint correction for swirls first, if you care.
I do an isopropyl cleans after polishing.
Apply your coating, I do 3 sets/layers.
Leave the truck inside for 24 hours to fully cure.
Then what I do is every couple months I'll wash with hot water and car shampoo (Meguiars), then I dry and I apply the Meguiars Synthetic X-press spray wax. It's like a detail spray, but it's a professional synthetic wax.
I buy everything from a guy named T (yes, T.... As in Tee) from Pittsburgh's Premier Car Care Store for detailing supplies, equipment and accessories. - Autoality Incorporated
