Honda GX690 engine

The Honda GX690 engine has two small ports above the oil filter. Would you be able to tell me what those are for, are they for an external oil cooler, if so what type and size.

You could be right. Attached is a screen shot from a GX670 General Purpose Engine Parts Catalogue showing an auxiliary oil cooler. I've never found the equivalent manual for the GX690.

interesting... it shows it connected to E-6, wherever that is.

What are you running that you might want an external cooler?
