Just upgraded my old Ford industrial 4500 to a new DK40, delivered last Friday. Many new bells and whistles I'm just starting to get use to. Sunday afternoon while leveling a pad for the expanded swing set the 3-point went dead on me. Wouldn't lift after getting stuck pulling the the box blade with ripper teeth down. Put it in the barn thinking maybe the bypass broke (or worse!!). Looked all over TBN to find similar issue, nothing seemed to match up so I though I would post the solution. Monday AM called the dealer and he stopped out at the house and took a look. Called me to let me know the tractor was just fine. Unknowing to me I accidentally tripped the rear remote lever with my leg, I guess power beyond from the 3-point runs the remote (doh). Of course he call back after half the office stopped in to inquire about the new toy. Live and learn. Lovin the tractor!

Congratulations! Funny how all those new little gadgets have their quirks. You'll soon be using each and every one as though they had always been there. At first I thought you were going to say that you had accidently turned off the 3pt. speed control under the seat. Of course, that would only stop downward drop.
I've driven the DK40 (and 45/55/65/35). Nice ride and plenty strong. Enjoy your new best friend. John
