Adding bleach to a well will not rust your pipes. Now chlorine is corrosive, no doubt about that, but there is not enough contact time for the bleach to be in your well to do any damage. Within three days it would be pumped out with your regular household usage. Some characteristic of your water would be responsible for the pipe breaking. You pouring a cup of bleach down the casing twice a year will not rust your pipes.
Also, if you were to add chlorine pellets to the well, when the pellets begin dissolving isn't that the same thing as bleach being poured down there?
I dissenfect wells with 12.5% sodium hypochlorite, (household bleach is 5.25% ) never had problems.
