I built my own cab from lexan over a wood frame,, works good
However since,,, I have been reading on this site of people buying soft sided golf cart covers and fitting them over the sun shade which I think would work great ,,especially if you only want it for winter use. If I was doing it again I would go this way ,,,cheaper and less noise in cab

I agree with this statement and it's exactly what I did and have done on every tractor I've owned for the past 10 years. A solid cab wouldn't work for me because I like the open air in the summer time but need something to cut the wind and cold in the winter. Below is a picture of the soft cab I used this winter, which worked very well and only cost me $130.
