If your using a blower any type of cab is a way to go.

I built my own cab from lexan over a wood frame,, works good
However since,,, I have been reading on this site of people buying soft sided golf cart covers and fitting them over the sun shade which I think would work great ,,especially if you only want it for winter use. If I was doing it again I would go this way ,,,cheaper and less noise in cab

Nice! Do you have any heat inside to keep it from fogging? What did you do for a door? How do you fasten the lexan to the wood?

Hi ,,, fogging is the main problem now,,I dont have any heat ,,,don't need it,,just dress in coveralls,I am looking for small heater fan to prevent fogging

The lexan is 1/4 inch or 6 mil,,door is 1/2 of side on left hinged on front post
Lexan is fastened to wood with drywall screws with rubber roofing washers after drilling holes in lexan
Another problem is noise in cab ,,I wear aviation noise cancelling headset that really help

Most of these problems would be solved if you have a sun shade and buy a golf cart cover to hang on it,,, It would be cheaper as well,, lexan is expensive

I agree with this statement and it's exactly what I did and have done on every tractor I've owned for the past 10 years. A solid cab wouldn't work for me because I like the open air in the summer time but need something to cut the wind and cold in the winter. Below is a picture of the soft cab I used this winter, which worked very well and only cost me $130.

Felt the need to correct my post....Were it says 10 years it should be 4 years. I doubt anyone cares but it bothered me. ;>)

i built mine from 1X1 16gauge tubing. Had an upholstery shop build door. All in I am less that $1500 and it works great.
