Just as the topic says, when the tractor is cold and operated near full HST speed. At first I thought only in 3rd range, but tonight (35 out) it did it in 2nd.
All I can tell is it is coming from under the tractor and can't tell the "where". Seems any noise would be echoed upward from the ground anyway.
I can't "just make it happen", as it doesn't do it every time. Tomorrow I will wind some extra grease to the front drive sleeve in hopes that it is just that simple, but I have doubts. To me it is definitely a bearing squeal.
I know this is a shot in the dark question, but am hoping someone else can say "I had that happen"
