tommypaul Hi I have a 73 i think its a 73 mtd just like the red one in the pic and i was wondering could tell me the full model numbur and serial number of it so i can look up the wireing diagram for it . i need to get it running but cant cuz don't no what wire gose were cuz some one spliced all of it and it would really help me if you would be so kind thank you .

Hello

I have the owners manual for a 146-990A if anyone needs one. It also has parts diagrams with the part numbers. I also have the manual for the deck if I recall correctly.

I have a MTD Fifteen Hundred and a Ten Hundred in my tractor herd. That Fifteen Hundred is a fine tractor, built as well as any vintage tractor I've ever seen. I just built a 3-point hitch for it and have a snow/dozer blade that came with it when I got it.

hey tommy paul.....i have a 990 that looks identical to your red one is there any chance i could get a copy of your manual i am have alot of trouble finding parts and any info as a matter of fact on this tractor......i will post pics later
