I am thinking about buying a ferris lawn tractor. Looks like an older one. It has a 22hp kholer motor that souns like it needs a rebuild. Are these easy to find parts for?

Which model of Kohler engine is it. Most of them parts are readily available but would want to make sure the block is either cast iron or has cast iron liners in case it needs to be rebored.

If the engine is bad what is the rest of the mower like? Is it a hydro transmission? If yes was it taken care of any better than the engine?
