HF Trailer

/ HF Trailer #21
My thoughts were the same as Frosty's. I would have one removable/hinged side and simply push it off from the other side. My bx won't scoop as much as your 4110, so I was thinking 3 dirt scoops max (approx 900-1000lbs) and then carry one in the bucket.

... Has anyone tried this?

Oh sure. Works ok ... pays to be on-the-ball enough to NOT fill the trailer full of wet clay though. I failed that prerequsite

I guess that trailer tongue wieght is not more the 460lbs. I was think about doing the same thing, however I was not sure it a bx1500 would be able to lift it.

Those small pickup beds make a nice smooth pulling trailer. I have one similiar. I am able to tip it up and over like in your pic. then go to the other side and flip it back. Works great..
For a half ton full size truck the small truck trailer is the pick. not too big. and works great.

I have one and I have been very happy with it. I think mine has a slightly large capacity - bought it about 2 years ago...but I can't remember for sure.

It has held up pretty well. I did break a steering linkage when I hit a rock once - was able to cut some heavier steal to replace their set up. This is the weak link on the wagon.

I have loaded the thing with lots of rocks and logs without any problems.

I do sometimes wish I had a road trailer...and someday maybe a dump trailer....but I can't complain about this thing - for the price it has worked out well.
