I've no doubt it just depends on the particular store and the individual employees in the stores. I've generally been quite pleased with the service at my nearest Northern Tool store.
.You are correct about the particular store. At the orginal location it was a nice and friendly store, after moving to a larger building accross the street they forgot to take the personnel with the stock. New people now that just do not care.
