My dad had was Gravely Dealer from 1973 - 1988 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. I worked for him starting when I was 14 until we closed the business in 1988 when I was 23. I have a lot of experience fixing all of the those Gravelys in that era. I now use a 5665 and an 8122. Both have a 50" mower deck. The walk behind also has a 48" blade, tiller, and 28" snowblower. I bought the 8122 with mower for $75. The engine was locked up. I overhauled the engine and everything works great. The dipper broke off of the connecting rod, that is why it was locked up. I love everything retro. I am almost done with a 1976 Ford Supercab pickup just like the trucks we used hauling Gravelys all over Wyoming.
