Hey MODERATORS: I got an Idea

It seems there are a few people here who can make some pretty useful spreadsheets. AKKAMAAN and IPlayFarmer both come to mind as being pretty darned good:thumbsup:

But the trouble is, with as booming as this site seems to be, I can never find them without searching for ever

So I was wondering if we/you could create a forum, or even a section that has JUST the spreadsheets. Or even just the single post that the spread sheet as attached in, all in one easy to get to location:thumbsup:

Maybe even have an area where people can request a spreadsheet and someone will be able to make one up and attach for us.:thumbsup:

Just an Idea. Not sure if it is possible though.

Where has AKKAMMAAN been anyway? I miss his explanations and graphics in the hydraulics.

Because ANYONE might be able to edit or change it if its public if it is linked it lessens the chance and cause misinformation later on.
Been there and had to reconstruct a spread sheet its no fun.

I have proposed something different in the past. I like the way Yesterdays Tractors has an "Articles" section. Over the years, a number of members here have written excellent "articles" in the past.

I guess I am not too familiar with the google sheets.

But with an excel sheet uploaded as an attachment in a zip file, whoever wants to can modify or taylor it to their own personal application:thumbsup:, but the upload on this site should NOT change. So anyone can download the origional.

Well, I figured Muhammad would see this thread anyway...being in the news and feedback forum??

I guess I see all the other posts about "I have an Idea for a new thread" Like the chainsaw forum, and snow plowing forum.

I just figured If I started a post, the "powers that be" would se it and if they like the idea, it would be done??

Maybe just wishful thinking???
