Dad built an F-20 Farmall w/a 327 Chevy and powerglide hooked to original trans.
It would disk ground at 30 Mph.

When I was a kid, my dad picked up an old Cat dozer for the back hoe on it. Some one had swapped in a 307ci Chevy motor. Ran good, but always hot, and just did not have the tourke it should have.

Nitro is a type of liquid fuel

Nitrous (short for nitrous oxide) is an oxygen bearing gas.

If you use electronic fuel injection, where do you fit the pump? Is there enough room for one in a tractor fuel tank?

ie:laughing gas...commonley used in denistry....throttle body fi just uses a transfer pump.multi port must use a transfer and also a pressure pump.nitrious uses bottle pressure that is porportioned through a regulator....Sid

It's the same gas that is used in dentistry, but if you try breathing the NO2 used for vehicles it will kill you. The NO2used in dentistry is medical grade, in vehicles it's industrial.

They make retro fit highPSI fuel pumps now, that mount inline. No need to fab an intank setup. Lots of good stuff out there these days./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
