For some reason thought it was to be a bit cooler today. I mowed at the new house we have a showing today and Monday, wanted it to look pristine.
Came home and started trimming, mowed here yesterday. I started cleaning in my garden, pulling out soaker hoses. Looks like I still have tomatoes in the weeds and carrots so will water. If nothing else can put up more green tomatoes, also the eggplants are producing, they like hot weather. Anyway I got so hot, didn't seem cooler to me. Came in and heck its near 100 again, so I hang it up till later this evening.
I need to read my meter and see what we have used, last month was really good for hot weather 1134 kwh's at $106.17. We got a $11.07 credit as they overcharged everyone and have to give credits for 3 months I beleive it is.
Ok lots of the numbers are right on the lines but this is close enough. For the last 25 days of over or near 100 degrees every day the bill right now is either $124 or $137 depending on whether we get a credit again. I estimate for 5 more days either $5 more or $6 more dollars. They read it anywhere from 28 days to 30 or 33. so won't be much more. I'm thrilled, as we have a freezer in the garage in this heat and a small fridge out there too for drinks, so not bad at all.
The Tech Shield hubby put in when he had to redeck the house has really paid for itself.
Ok, cooled off, now to clean up, DD and I are going to go out for brunch. Will work out there later this evening or in the morning for trimming and all. It's about time for me to drive the truck and trailer around the yard and trim limbs. I usually do it spring and fall. I hate getting hit in the head with the darn things when mowing. I had a tree trimmer cut dead limbs out and lots of stuff over the drive that was hitting the trucks and also limbs off the tenants mobile. I can't climb to do that and hubby is getting to old to do it, I don't want him too. Getting ready for hurricane season.
