I don't think any Yanmar tractor that has ever been imported to the states has ever had engine trouble. I have a 226d and threw a rod through the drivers side last week and have looked at ever site and supplier I can find on the web and nobody seems to have any engines. If anybody knows of a 3T75HA that is salvaged or if anybody knows if there is a direct replacement engine, ie 3T80 or 3T84 that would bolt right in I would appreciate a lead. I have a hole in the side about the size of a tennis ball. Thanks for any help.

Definitely couldn't run by and see it. I am not sure if that is a direct replacement or not. Wish there was some kind of cross reference of engines to see what would be a direct bolt up from one engine to another. It would be nice to be able to pick up 8-10 hp if it became necessary to replace engine. I did see online a product call castaloy to fix cracks and holes in cast iron that is not a high temp fix. Is anybody familiar with this product or process?

Um i dont think a tennis ball size hole is not a crack or a small whole that some miricle goop called cataloy could fix? I think you just need to find you a good block and rebuild a replacement.
