I think that is probably a 246 JD planter. It looks in excellent condition. Those planters are older and a little less user friendly than the 71 planters, however, having the fertilizer hoppers is a definite plus. With the high cost of fertilizer, it is much more efficient to put the fertilizer right next to the row as opposed to broadcasting. For gardens, food plots, etc. that planter looks like it would do the job.
