Help with 870 JD

Last fall, I took a break and come back to start my tractor, it was dead. I was able to jump start it at the starter and got it home. The starter was original and it dragged a lot, so I replaced it and the key switch was very loose and you had to use two hands to start it, so I replaced it. Now I have no power at all, the dash lights won't even come on, any ideas?

Can you provide any more details within this "last fall" timeline and now? Having a tough time understanding what the sequence of events may have been, and maybe others who can help sort it out are as well.

Replaced with JD parts?
