While using my YM 2000B this weekend, something fell off my throttle linkage and now it will not stay in position, it just springs back. I don't know what it looks like, but there is a bracket there with a threaded hole and nothing attached. The bracket has a twist in it and one threaded hole. I suspect that is where the tension piece went. Does anyone have, or can you take a picture of their linkage to help me identify it? I took a picture but it's not digital, just print. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance!

I found a post on a friction disk. I think that may be my problem. Where exactly does it go? After this happened, my throttle lever had more side to side movement. A picture or description would be a big help!

Coyote,
I'm guessing the 2000B uses the same type friction disk that my YM1700 did. Mine split in two and slipped out. Long time before I figured out what was wrong. If I remember right it fits right behind a round plate at the base of the throttle lever.
