Hi my name is Chris and we acquired this tractor through a cat dealer it was labeled by the salesmen as cat built LIE but 416 hours later the tractor started blowing white smoke and after a simple inspection bam oil mixing with the water blown head gasket right ? No warped head which is mind boggling to me since I've ran equipment pretty much since I could touch the pedals and I'm 32 years old no master operator but smart enough not to tear a machine up could anyone with any insight to this particular tractor help with just the basics what rpm does it like what can it do and what can't it do it wasn't worked for nothing just dragging and discing and warped head doesn't make since

Someone must have run it very hot after it lost coolant, maybe they damaged the radiator or a hose during use and didn't realize it.

Anyhow, that's also a Massey 1533. Find a Massey dealer and a head shop (to resurface your head) they should be able to help.

I can only tell you from experience that more damage can be done to these engines but running the rpm too low under a heavy load. Especially stalling it under heavy louds on the motor. These engines have an optimal rpm that they need to run cooler and moreefficient-check your owners manual.

You have too many hours on it to simply guess where it went wrong withour knowing more of its history and maintenance.

it has under 500 hrs ... That's very low hours.

Regardless, it's not my tractor. I responded to offer a possible insight and solution. Which is why I said to take it to a Massey dealer.
