Help needed by Belleville, IL on used JD

Guys....I'm looking at a used JD at a dealer near Belleville, IL , I live in western PA and I'm seriously considering buying this machine. I got pictures and spoke with the dealership. I was wondering if anyone is from around here and could give the unit a quick look over. Please PM if you can help.

Since you are not finding anyone to check it out, you might want to contact the former owner and talk with him about it. That's what I did when I bought from a dealer via pictures only. Dealer should be able to put you in contact with the former owner.

you are looking at a tractor pretty far away!

i would say if it is used tractor, just hold off if you can, till you find something near you. that will only take a day to drive to and back home to look at.

sight un-seen can always be trouble and risky.

if it is a new tractor, i would check locally and pay couple hundred more just to have the place near by.
