Hey all. Need some troubleshooting assistance. My JD5410 with a 541 loader stopped working today. Used it two days ago and worked perfectly, today the hydraulic system seems to be running fine - bucket will curl up and down, and if I use the rear hydraulics they seem to have power, but my loader will only go up or down about 4 inches.
Plenty of fluids, seems to have plenty of power - what else can I check? If it didn't move at all I would suspect a hyrdraulic problem, but it seems to be able to go up 4 inches and get stuck, will go back down up/down/up/down as much as I want...is the consistent ability to go up and down 4 inches a clue about what could be wrong?
