I rebuilt the carburetor for my JD 111 lawn tractor. I re-installed the carburetor and did a coarse adjustment on the idle mixture and the main needle valve.
The hard start issues have been solved, but now the engine acts like there's no governer. With no load on it the engine races even at low throttle. I checked the linkages and the governer spring, and I think I got them in right. I also compared it to my old mower with a 12 hp Briggs and Stratton.
Any guesses as to what I did wrong?
