Having problems with engine spitting and sputtering a med throttle. Idles great, acceleration it great, and high end is great.
I have:
1) Rebuilt the carburetor. Cleaned with Ultrasonic cleaner. I thoroughly blew out all hole passages.
2) Removed the pilot screw cap and adjusted. Originally 1 turn from seat up to 1-1/2 turns. Runs bad at 1-1/2 turns.
3) New air cleaner.
4) There is a tube on the bottom of the card that has to be inserted into a rubber hose. Screw on side is open 1/8 turn. This allows fuel to flow to the rubber tube to bottom of the engine.
-What is this tube for. Never seen anything like it.
Any help with what to try next? A new carb is $600. Not going that direction. You'd think a 2015 carb wouldn't be worn out already.
