I have a JD LA175 and the throttle lever does nothing to actuate the throttle butterflies inside the carb, and my engine is racing way above normal RPMs (worried I'm going to blow my 26hp Briggs & Stratton engine). While taking off the Nikki carb, I believe I must've screwed something up, lost a spring, or just didn't reattach everything properly when putting things back. If you have a Nikki setup with that black plastic ramshorn setup, can you please send me detailed pics of the throttle linkage connection(s), the actuating arms (carb too), that shiny metalic throttle connector device lying flat under the carb where the throttle cable comes in...? Hoping to see where I've screwed up.
Attached are a couple of pics my current setup.
