Help finding JD 120 mower volt. reg.

I need a voltage regulator for one of my old JD riding mowers. One from a early '70's 120 or a 140 will work. I can get a new one from John Deere but their pretty high. If anyone has one or might know some one who does, I would appreciate a private message or just post here. Thanks. Nick.
