Help create a hydraulics "wiki" in honor of Madreferee

I'm sure all are saddened by the loss of Paul. I for one am starting to really see how invaluable a resource he was here at tbn. We are struggling to answer hydraulics questions that he knew off the top of his head.

I'd like to create a "wiki" on tbn for all things hydraulic. I need your help (many hands make light work). Please contribute your favorite tbn threads, pictures, links, procurement sources, reference material (books, articles etc.). We should attempt to cover everything hydraulic as it relates to compact tractors.

Basic theory - pressure, flow etc.
Terminology - what exactly is a "SCV"
Types of system - Open vs. Closed center
Pumps
Valves
Diverters
Third function
Plumbing
Power beyond
Grapples
Top & Tilt
4 in 1 Buckets
Log splitters
Other???

I'm happy to lead the editing effort as we compile all the information. We'll have to figure out how to capture the finished product - it could be as simple as a "sticky" in one of the forums. We could also make a pdf for easy printing & offline reference.
