Hello, I need help

Hello, I am new here and I need help. My pa has a 1969 ford 3500 industrial tractor with the 4 speed power reversing transmission. It will go in reverse but not forward. We changed filter and fluid, disconnected linkage and manually shifted id , still no go. Help
