Hi, I've got a caterpillar 2004 257B skid steer. I love it! New engine due to a roll over, and tracks have 90% left on them. Mostly just use it around the house, but do a little construction with it also. It's been Cat maintained all it's life, so it is in top shape for it's age as far as maintenance. The main reason i joined this fourm is because I want a service manual for it. I've looked all over the internet, but can't find much. Does anyone know where I can download one? Or can I buy one on a CD? The cost of the one I found was $1300!!!!

Are you serious? 1300 dollars for a service manual? Have you tried EBAY? Hopefully another member may be able to assist you more. Good Luck. Was that a misprint?:welcome:

Not a misprint. $1300 is what I found. I was hoping someone might have a PDF file or something with the manual on it. ??
