Well...I'm in my first year of being a first generation "homesteader". So far I've learned that everything takes twice as long as I planned and is about three times as hard as I anticipated. But I enjoy manual labor so I think I'm up for the long haul. Once my kids are old enough to lend a stronger hand I think things will ease up (at least that's what I'm thinking...a guy can dream can't he). I'm looking forward to learning from everyone here over the coming years.
Now...I need some help please. I've read through the "L3430 won't stay running" thread and it sounds very similar to the problem I am having. The tractor starts right up just fine but then suddenly dies anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute later. I do here some inconsistent clicking after the engine dies. Sometimes it clicks once, sometimes three times, and sometimes not at all. I cleaned the fuel filter and blead the system according to the operator's manual...same problem. I replaced the fuel filter...same problem. The thread above talked about the OPC Timer. Is that where I should go next in my troubleshooting adventure or is there something else to check next? Thanks in advance for the help.
