Deere 2320
Hi Folks,

I took the plunge today, and signed for a 2320 with FEL and 62" drive on MMM. Also 54" blade for the front. Mower deck should be here in about three weeks. Thanks to all of you for the info I gleened from this sight prior to making my decision. I hope it works as nice as it looks.

Welcome LostViking.

"about 3 weeks"....okay take big breath...now exhale...keep doing this until the dealer calls and says your new tractor and goodies are on the way,for it will help from bitting your finger nails.;)

Congratulations Walt! Don't forget pics when you get it and I don't think there is a 2320 review on the Reviews Page (hint, hint). :)

Congrats Walt!

Did you get a front blade that attaches to the FEL quick-tach or one that attaches to the front frame of the tractor?

I got the one that attaches to the front tractor frame, Deere makes a no-tools required bracket. So you don't have to drop your loader frame to hook it up.

That was what I liked about this tractor. Not the most HP out there, but it seemed really easy to use and switch impelments. The loader is a breeze.

Are you saying that you can have the mounting bracket for the front blade remain in place with the FEL/bucket or are you saying that you can have your front blade attached while the FEL/bucket is still on the tractor?

Not the blade, just the mounting bracket. FEL must be removed, but the sub-frame can stay in place, as I understand it. I do not have it yet so not positive. There is a $90 bracket that allows this, that my dealer came up with. He threw it in the deal. Says it will make switching between the FEL and the blade much easier. Time will tell.

Cast,

Yes it is a slick set-up. Power down, flip-flip and it is off. Drive in power down, flip-flip and it is on. Very nice. Much nicer than my old NH TC-33 Set-up.

Out of curiousity, why are you downsizing? Seems like a significant drop from a TC33 to a 2320.

Be sure to post some pictures of the blade setup when you get a chance.

Hello again,

I had to re register. Got locked out for some reason. With only 4 posts, I am still not sure why. No one would answer my emails. So, I will try this instead.

Anyway, I should take delivery of the 2320 later this week. They were waiting on a bracket for the mower deck. But they gave me an old 425 to use until it came in so no big deal.

Neo, I was forced to sell the TC quite a while ago. So not really down sizing. More like starting over. This seems like enough tractor to do what I require. At 46 years, old maybe I am finally getting over the "Tim Taylor" syndrome of more is better. We shall see.

Walt.

I always liked the episode where he tricked out his lawn mower. It was a cross between a lawn mower and muscle car. Flames and all if I recall. :)
