While quite a few hitch adapters have been posted, I haven't seen one like this. I wanted to be able to pull a flatbed trailer with a lunette using my tractor and not be concerned about the tongue weight bending something. The uprights that are drilled for the toplink pin are heavy 3" angle. The receiver sets on top of the cross tube. The angles, receiver tube and cross tube all act to support each other. Finished weight is about 70lbs.

Darren; Oh yeah, you just had to weld on 2 Drings! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif Nice job! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I see you can adjust the toplink mount. What is the thinking behind that. I also like that you mounted the reciever above rather than below the crossmember.

The adapter was built to work with any of my tractors which range from 30 to 80hp. I have to remove the stabilizers on the lower arms of the smallest, the Kubota, to get it to fit. But it does fit. The two D links accept the safety chain hooks on two of the trailers which are ex-military. The hooks together won't fit on or through one D Link.

It appears that great minds think alike - I wanted a hitch adapter for my BX23 that would fit into the Speeco quick hitch ( and still be adaptable to regular 3pt arms ) so I could pull a lawn roller and move a trailer if need be. Looks like the only difference between yours and mine is I put a pice of tubing across the top as a grab handle so I could take it in and out of the quick hitch more easily.

That's a good looking adapter. The design to fit a quick hitch for easier on and off is slick. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a market for those. The matching paint job is the icing on the cake.
