Heard of this grease fitting?

It called a Gaint button head fitting. It’s supposed to grease top roller on a tract style tractor. I guess it’s the only way to “lube” them. Some use heavy oil some use grease

Yes, I had that style on my crawlers. I still have the proper grease gun tip for it somewhere.

I like them as it doesn't require to hold the grease gun hose so it doesn't leak everywhere like the other common style of grease zerks.

I'm assuming this is what you are referring to;

That’s it! I thought it might help somebody because I looked a while before I found it. I even ask the Cat dealer here and the young person who I was talking to did not have a clue as to what I was needing. On my Cat tractor I just have them on the big top rollers I think on both ends. My U series rollers don’t take anymore grease there are no fittings on them. Thanks for the reply

OK now where do I buy double ought grease? And does it come in tubes. The person I saw had a little jug with a pump lever on it. I think it’s a lock and lube product

Corn Head Spindle grease. Napa, Deere and Tractor Supply can get it, but only in liquid.

Button zerk used on older field discs too.

I have the pump can and button head coupler still

I get it at Deere since they are the only ones that carry it locally.

This was the first I had ever witnessed. I kept wondering how to grease the rollers with nu alimite Research told the tale but I think they are only on these vintage machines.

Many valves have button head grease fittings.
