No resolution yet. BTW, it's natural grassland. Not a tree for miles. They don't live close by me.

Yes, some people are passive, some are aggressive. The aggressive one always take advantage of the passive one, and they become real good at recognize the weak ones. This can go on for a LONG time, but often the passive ones snaps and then you read about the results in the newspaper.
Many folks never learn the proper positions is being assertive. You have rights and I have rights, we don't have to stomp on each other.
that means the neighbor owns their property, and they are either renters or trespassers!. they need to find out which one they are!!.. there must be a record of it somewhere..They wimped out and let the neighbor take it after the neighbor yelled at them. Nothing will be done. Some people are wimps. Makes me mad but that's the way i thought it would go. They are not pressing charges. Neighbor is a huge landowner. Thousands of acres. They only have 60. Neighbor told them he owns the hay and grazing rights.
Oh, well... I guess if he told them...that's that! They wimped out....

Wouldn't there be a contract or deed, etc.. that lists these rights?
Hey, if no documentation necessary go tell the wimps you own their TV rights and start carrying it to your car. ...or their car, you own the rights to that too!
..or tell them you have "droit du seigneur" ( jus primae noctis) rights & you've finally come to collect. From the sounds of it his response would be "Okay." :confused3:
Edit: Whoops....I just saw they're a relative...now my jest crosses a line too far!
If its a land contract, they are probbaly buying it from the people who cut the hay and they reserved the right to graze/cut hay until its paid in full.I have doubts the deed is even recorded. Don't really know. They said it's a "Land Contract".
I didn't know any of this when I first posted. I thought they "owned" the place.

And that's just the beginning. The rest isn't fit to print.
