Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

Harbor Freight also sells some pretty darn good tools which give the high end brands a run for their money … but they do cost more than their entry level/disposable tools
Yep, especially their generators which often come from the same factory as the "name" brands.

I buy my welders at HF, just bought 3 about 2 months ago and put the extended warranty on all of them. My employees use them and so do I.

All IGBT machines, which is what everyone else is using today.

I never buy the crap tools, Only Icon or Pitts Pro stuff. Never would buy any drills there. I only purchase Chicago Latrobe or Cleveland Twist.

Anyone have any experience with the Hercules ultra impact wrench? Been working at removing my Gravely mower blades that a Gorilla installed. Got 2 of 3 out using the Bauer electric plug in impact wrench, lots of heat and hammering required. 3rd one isn’t budging. Just wondering if the Ultra would be a decent upgrade from the Bauer plug and play.

A half inch breaker bar should romove it easy enough.

When I have a tough nut to loosen, I always use my Thor 1/2" air impact. It makes well over 1300 pounds feet of unfastening torque. I'd never use any electric impact, they just don't cut the cheese IMO. I use the Thor when replacing wear steels on snow plows as well. If it won't bust the A325 Dome head plow bolts, it will twist the shank off.

I have been very impressed with the quality and performance of my HF Hercules grease gun.

Tried with a breaker bar and 4 foot cheater. No go.
Holey-cow, that's interesting. With a 4' cheater bar, something should have loosened or broke.

The nearest Harbor Freight store is too far away from me to be of any help, so I will wait to hear your results.

good luck
