Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

OK. My 8750W was around 200 Lbs and came by truck. My little 2K inverter was probably 50-60 though.

It is the EU2200... I have bigger and smaller... 25 year old EM 5000 and 30 year old 1000 that currently has a carb issue... darn CA ethanol...

I've wondered if a better substitute to grind apples would be to buy a brand new garbage disposal, sterilize it with bleach, then core the apples and run them through that. Anybody ever try this?

(My attempt to hull walnuts in HF's junior cement mixer was a complete waste of time).

The only issue is that the disposals rely on constant water flow to keep them from clogging.
Is you want "apple flavored juice" it could work.

You could always use apple juice instead of water to keep things flowing. I've also seen a DIY margarita machine made out of a new garbage disposal.

Ok, actually dug up the link again too... The Margarita Machine looks like it will pump liquid and/or a slushie up over a foot.

Interesting. Would it be recycling it's own juice? I guess you would need a "start up" batch to get it going.
And just how fine will the disposal grind the apples? Will one trip through the disposal be enough?

My neighbor across the lane just told me she bought a restaurant-grade garbage disposal (new) and ran 500 lbs of apples through it making cider.

I mean, unless you're running a clean room for some reason.

My vision isn't the best and I've built several tool storage trays over the last few years. The inside of all of them have been painted white to help me see the tools.

HF aint the only ones with white toolboxes. Lowes has them now also. Apparently you were ahead of the curve on this one.
