That just turns the mice into blood stains on the floor & puke on the seat of the side by side. Beats chewed wires I guess. My shop does look like it's home to a serial killer though (which I guess it is).You need more cats.

Thats me. 3 in the shop, 3 in the big barn and 8 in the house. Did I mention I dislike cats? I do. All they do is puke, crap and leave hair everywhere and mouse heads laying around too.You need more cats.
Mouse heads? Last time we had cats at the ranch (tenant in granny unit) they left nearly complete gophers all over the place continually. I couldn't believe how two big well fed, cuddly cats could do so much killing.Thats me. 3 in the shop, 3 in the big barn and 8 in the house. Did I mention I dislike cats? I do. Mine hate the tails. Little mouse and squirrel rumps with attached tails lying all around..Mouse heads? I think the days of free flashlights are largely over.I don't either. Try the ITC page. Kind of hoping they start giving away those oval blue LED lights again. I'm out. Gave all of them away for Christmas presents the last few years.
I see they do have PBlaster marked down. I'll pick up a few cans next time I visit the local emporium.
And the microfiber cloths... I love those. Glad I stocked up a bit.I think the days of free flashlights are largely over.
I hope not. I need some for stocking stuffers for next Christmas.I think the days of free flashlights are largely over.
I mistakenly bought an assortment of nuts and bolts (not to be used on farm equipment, I try to use a grade 5 or grade 8). I used one on a lawnmower handle and tightened it, I sheared it without a cheater bar and without much effort. I tossed the rest of the assortment.I was ispired by another thread with this link to Weldingweb:
HF tools that don't suck - WeldingWeb - Professional Welding Forum
The Weldingweb site is mostly about metal working tools, so I thought it might be interesting to share which tools / products we have found to be a good value at HF. I don't think anyone seriously thinks they sell good tools, but some are adequate for the need or usage we have in mind.
Some of my experiences:
1000# capacity folding trailer, about $250. Works great for my light duty needs and folds in half to stand on end in my garage, out of the weather.
4 1/2 inch angle grinder, $15. So far, so good for sharpening mower blades, dressing up metal projects
Welding magnets. Inexpensive (with the coupons I get nonstop) and fascinating for the kids to play with.
Diamond blade wet saw, $50. Works great and allowed me to do my whole bath ceramic tile project without renting any tools. Water tray is hard to remove without slopping water.
880# overhead hoist. Paid $80. Mounted to reinforced ceiling joists in barn. Extremely useful for horsing around 3 point attachments, lawn tractor, etc. A real back saver.
Box knives - not worth the $1 on sale - handle breaks on first use.
Surely you can afford to spend $2.49 on the kids.I hope not. I need some for stocking stuffers for next Christmas.
