Well, it's kind of funny that this post got dug back up from the grave almost a year to the day after I started it.
So far nothing has broken out of that list of stuff but I haven't even used some of the items yet. I still haven't hooked up power to my barn so my welding stuff is still unused. The compressor doesn't get used much but for the $90 I paid for it, it is good for filling up tires, etc.

I would NEVER get another power tool from Harbor Freight. If you plan on using them for more than 2 hours buy something that will last that long. The couple power tools that I bought from them for small projects (where I would never use the tool again) didn't even make it through the project.

I have had good and bad luck from HF.
Some of the stuff is JUNK. Some is actually pretty good.
I still have air tools I bought when I was in High School with very little money.
I did buy a portable band saw from them.
So far I have cut enough stuff that if it died tomorrow I did get my money's worth.
One thing I have noticed, I am seeing alot more of the same tools at farm stores and the like.
There is actually a HF store about 40 miles from my house.
I bet the smell of cosmoline would knock you down LOL.
