Yes, noticed the same thing. To be honest I purchased more stuff when they had the 20% off coupons. Now they have coupons for things I don't need!

I used to live for the day when the mailer arrived with the 15% off anything coupons. They don't seem to arrive very often anymore but they delight in emailing me $1-3 off coupons on small items.
BTW I was really ticked off one day when my mailer arrived and the 15% off coupon had been neatly torn off the corner already by someone at the post office

I have these on my computer. i print them out and use 'em all the time. they almost never automatically scan, but they just punch 'em in and "el discounto humungo!" lol.

I printed off one of the 20% coupons, but when I tried to "pass" it, I wound up with a manager telling me that it was a fabricated coupon... only those with expiration dates, and from H. F.'s website are now accepted. Oh well.

I redeemed myself yesterday. I took a sale catalog in to the store and got the $19.99 multimeter and the $19.99 air ratchet for $9.99 each. In addition, I had a 15% off coupon from the back of a flyer that took another $1.50 off of the ratchet. I picked up a 99 cent air fitting for the ratchet. The total bill came to $20 and change.

I should have taken the coupon that Jim posted too, I would have saved an extra buck. As it is, though, I can't complain about what I got for what I paid. Now I have more junk to clutter the garage.

I wonder how much money harbor freight spends on ads. I think I get an average of 2 catalogs a week that are at least a 100 pages each and full color the whole way through.

I read elsewhere that Camarillo (HQ) ordered all stores to no longer accept coupons lacking an expiration date. So the ones you find online are effectively expired, unless you have a real cooperative local store manager. I haven't heard of any.

I haven't seen a 20% coupon (with expiration date) for several months. The 15% coupons are less frequently printed on that catalog they mail you, and they have the customer name printed on them to prevent sharing or re-use.

Also my local store won't accept the email coupons unless the bar code, hard to reproduce on a 300dpi printer, is scannable. Most of their coupons won't scan no matter how many times they try. I now write the coupon # on the printout with a pen and insist they key it in at the register.

Ever notice how they alternate super-sales and 15% coupons? They no longer have both valid at the same time.

Maybe the annual parking lot sale is the last deep-discount opportunity left.
