Hanging Equipment On Trailer

Why not pull the splitter behind the trailer? My FIL does it all the time.

Crazy. It's legal to hang it off the back but not double pull. Great logic. Glad I live where I do.

Hanging it off the back takes weight off the hitch, puts great shock loads on the gear, ect.

I personally would take my chances double pulling it and play stupid if ever stopped.
