H1502 Bolens

This unit has the 17HP 2 cylinder Mitsu engine. Is the hydro particularly unique, does it have value, or is it less desirable than the standard gear tranny? Is it harder/easier to run efficiently having to keep the foot on the pedal? I have not heard much about this model.
