Guess what Yanmar makes?

Hi guys - im normally a JD guy - in in the national guard, and I noticed on our new 3KW generator the diesel was made by yanmar! I was impressed and wanted to let you know.

Yanmar supplies engines to lots of companies for very many different types of equipment.

I met a salesman that sold Yanmar pumps to a submarine base in Indiana. It's not a joke. There is a big lake somewhere in Indiana that has a submarine training base.

I believe Yanmars first diesel engines were for stationary equipment and manufactured in the mid 1930's. They've been around quite a long time.

You're proably reffering to the Great Lakes Naval Training center. It's just north of Chicago. Close, but not quite Indiana.

It is probably Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, IN.
