Hello All,
I have recently re-attached my mowing deck after the winter season and have run into a problem. The arm that is used to add/remove to tension the PTO belt at the mowing deck is now rubbing on the tires when the deck is fully raised. I have my chains on still, but I had them on last year w/o any problems. The part that is rubbing is where the spring connects. I have taken the deck on and off several times to see if it was something I did, to no avail. It does appear that the right hand lift mount (for a lack of a better description the thing with the pin in it), is bent backwards only slightly.
My questions are:
Should I be able to run the mower with the chains on?
What else should I look at on the deck?
Is there anyway of moving the deck forward away from the rear tires?
TIA,
Tim
