GT2542 Cub, is this a good tractor

1*I bought a John Deere X300 and once I got it home I quickly discovered I wasn't going to be happy with it.....especially after seeing the CC 2542.
3*The JD went back and I purchased the CC 2542
5*I wouldn't go back to that JD if they gave it to me.....

1*Why did you buy the JD when you liked the CC?
3*Why didn't you get the 2542 in the first place?
5*The 300 is a LT and the 2542 is a GT.
