Grinding / Sharpening Pros Here?

/ Grinding / Sharpening Pros Here? #21
A bench grinder? I dunno, I bet ya a 10' bench grinder would "hollow"
out a .25" wide chipper blade held at a 45* angle. :) Thus the grind
would be concave instead of flat.

so what problem would that cause, the concave would be so light I could not see "harm" it could cause, If not use a cup wheel and make a guide like I suggested earlier with a piece of angle iron or two pieces of flat bolted together, for a guide, the guide could be made out of wood as far as that goes.

if you want a holder for the blade bolt the bench grinder to a table and make the guide so it slides across the table, many ways to do this and do it fairly cheaply,

here is a guy who made a small wood holder and uses his drill press with a grinder wheel in it,
Advice appreciated on sharpening Chipper blades

here is a $700 dollar grinder that is not much more than a bench grinder and a cup wheel and a guide like I sugested,

here is a steel holder for mounting a chipper blade so it can be ground,

here is probly the easest and simplest set up with a small ledge all would be ground the same, using a bench grinder and a wood block for a guide,
