Well that was less painful than expected so I will try another /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
On the original there was only one horizontal bar and it was about right in the middle. I learned the hard way that it nedded more protection. I cut the original out, moved it down to right above the headlights, added the oter ***. bar below the lights, and added the vert. bars. A little bit of flat expanded metal and some new paint finished it up. I am a little worried about the opening for the head lights, but I didn't really want the shadows from putting the exp. metal over them

Looks good! I want to make some modifications to my stock grill guard to make it more effective.

It may be more effort than you want to expend, but if you hold some expanded metal over your headlights, you may not notice any detriment re: shadows. My grille guard covers the lights with expanded metal and I don't see any significant difference in headlight illumination.

I am still thinking about the exp. metal over the headlights. I am never done with any one project, they are all a work in prossess /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. If I ever get lights added to my ROPS I guess the headlight issue will be a moot point /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
