We, wifey and I just inlarged our greenhouse. We had a 6'X6' greenhouse for starting plants, we have a very short growing season.
We just added 100sq ft of growing space. I plan two 4'X8' raised beds. We built a 12X12 pitch because of the amount of snow we get.
Just finished today, a little more to do.

I'ed like to see what you have done in your greenhouses, how you plant and such. Thankyou

Richard

That looks beautiful, nice job. What type of plastic is that, 9 years seems pretty good.

Richard, I don't know how you found enough room to enlarge that greenhouse. Those boulders seem to be everywhere. Did you have to move some big ones out of the way and bring in soil? BTW: Your addition is a very nice job, something to be very proud of and use to its full advantage.

What nice greenhouses. Would love to have one. Would be a good place to raise plants for the garden and also for a few things in the winter.

Told hubby by the time we get everything we want we will be to old to use them!

The one looks like it was a lot of work with all the rocks and stuff.

Greetings, We split a lot of bolders with feather and wedges, some as big as volkswagans. The plastic comes from Home Depot. While covering the new section a couple sheets had to be replaced on the old section.

That greenhouse in the post is a knock out! I love it. You clearly don't get much snow where you live, we had to do a 12X12 pitch.

We live in the mountains with Ski Resorts a couple miles in each direction, in winter just the crest of the greenhouse can be seen.

jinman, To answer you more fully, I didn't bring in dirt. After spliting the rocks small enough to move we sifted the earth to remove the larger stones and used that soil. We filled the tractor bucket many times removing rocks. Wifey built the rock wall in front of the green house and we used the soil from where the new addition is to fill in the pad. We are on a hillside, nothing is on the level unless we make it so.

We got a late start but we have many things growing.
