I've been looking at this site for the past couple of months and decided to join the other day.:thumbsup:
I had recently bought 6 acres of which about 2 is wooded and the rest is abandoned pasture. There were trees about 5" dbh all in the old pasture. I had the trees removed and was in need of a tractor to continue the restoration process and future mini farm needs.
I looked around a while and ran across a deal i thought was good. I found a Kubota L2800 HST that I bought with 28 hours on it. It has a A463 FEL and the tractor was hardly used? The guy was trying to move out of state quickly and didn't have a need for the tractor or equipment. He threw in the following equipment: 5' Woods bushhog, 12" moldboard plow, 6' box blade, 6' landscape rake, boom pole, Leinbach disk harrow. He bought the equipment new and it looked like most the equipment had not been used.
All said and done, I paid $17,000.
The tractor now has 53 hours and has saved me a lot of back pain. I really like it so far. I'm looking forward to many more years of time in the seat!
