I have a 1995 718 Grasshoppper with a Briggs and Straton engine. When I mowed sideways aroung my pond, oil would end up in the air breather. I mow up and down now but oil continues to get in and plug my air filter. I assume it is coming from the breathing tube from the crankshaft to the air breather. How can I stop the oil from entering my air breather? One suggested I run with minimum oil in engine. I tried that but it continues to suck oil into the air breather and plugs my air filter. I tried running it without an air breather. It is worse as far as sucking oil into the air breather. Any help / insight / suggestinos would be appreciated.
