Picked up the Wicked Compact 50" yesterday and giving it a test run. For the last week I've cutting scrub bushes and trees from the perimeter of my planted pines. Cleaned all that mess up this evening in about 3 hours.

Handy little thing isn't it?

It sure is. I can't believe how much lighter it is and feels on the tractor than the 48" WildKat that I had.

One thing I'm not really fond of is those sharp serrated teeth. Cedar trees and other small brush stick to them like Velcro making it aggravating to dump.

Has anybody ground down those sharp serrated points?

Yeah, I would not have serrated teeth if I had a choice. Gotta take the good with the not so good I guess. EA makes a nice unit all in all I have to say.

I agree, the grapple is nice. Everything is straight, good looking welds, fit and finish is great.

I bought the 44" Gorilla Grapple for picking up cedars, because I could stab them from any angle, not just parallel with the trunk.

No serrated teeth.
